Towards the end of Jesus’ time on earth, He could say, I have done everything my Father has asked me to do. On the cross, He said, “It is finished.”

A busy schedule is not foreign to Jesus. But somehow, He was never in a hurry. He was never flustered nor in panic mode. Jesus stayed as long as He can in parties or when people invited Him over for dinner. He taught big crowds. He attended to His closest followers.

It was around the year 2000 and it was one unforgettable day!

I had just returned to my birthplace — a town nestled in scenic hills and below some soaring cliffs on the edge of an arm of the Atlantic ocean. One such soaring cliff seemed impossible to climb when I was a little boy growing up near one of my favorite beaches.  The cliff was high; the rock face was rugged and precipitous. The bush below was dense and seemingly impenetrable.
